“Lighthouses don’t go running all over an island looking for boats to save, they just stand there shining.”

Black Ink

Sometimes I just look at my brushes I take them and I paint whatever is on my mind. And black ink is always next to me, because I simply enjoy painting with it.

And to mention when I paint with black ink, it depends what the painting will be, I use feather pen and brushes.

“Hope can be a powerful force. Maybe there’s no actual magic in it, but when you know what you hope for most and hold it like a light within you, you can make things happen, almost like magic.”
— Laini Taylor

Sister’s painting- graphite

The eyes are my sister’s favorite thing for drawing, because by looking in the human eyes you can read their souls.

“If only our eyes saw souls instead of bodies how very different our ideals of beauty would be”

Sister’s painting

I recommend you to try drawing with pastels but you have to be careful with the moves because mistakes are not allowed, you can’t fix them. Pastel colors are suitable for drawing nature.

“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose our selves at the same time.”

Black ink painting

This is one of my paintings with black ink, I was inspired by the nature and how actually we are part of it.

Who are we?

Hello everyone my name is Kate, I started this blog because I love drawing, it’s kind of my passion and the reason for the name art sisters is simple it’s because of my sister. Her drawings are perfect and I always love learning from her. We simply enjoy the scent of art. It’s our “together” hobby. We always get inspired, sharing each other’s ideas and putting them down on paper by using our favorite colors and brushes.
